Bush-whacking bumper stickers. Thanks, Dave
"As democracy is perfected, the office of president represents, more and more closely, the inner soul of the people. On some great and glorious day the plain folks of the land will reach their heart's desire at last and the White House will be adorned by a downright moron."
-H. L. Mencken (1880 - 1956)

My favorite is the bumper sticker Bookhampton (the bookstore chain in the Hamptons) gives out free with purchase: "Dissent is patriotic."
ha! good one!
as a columnist said, Bush is a delusional hedgehog.
The Menckin quote is a favorite of mine but current liberals should be carefull with it because Menckin was an old time classical liberal. ( Libertarian )
He shared the founding fathers deep fears and distrust of Democracy as an unlimited good and believed in limited government power.
Good ones, especially "Bush. Like a rock, only dumber". That line says it all..........
